Meet the Founder

My name is Jazzmine

I'm a designer, maker, and the creative mind behind Augustin Events.

I created the Augustin Events studio as a welcoming space where people can step away from the busyness of everyday life, try something new, and enjoy the satisfaction of making something with their own hands. Whether it's your first workshop or your tenth, I want you to leave feeling inspired, more confident in your creativity, and proud of what you've created.

When I'm not planning workshops or designing new experiences, I love learning a new craft, spending time in the garden, and being outdoors. I often find inspiration in Nottinghamshire's beautiful countryside and rich history.

Creativity with sustainability at its heart

Sustainability is a big part of how I run Augustin Events, from the materials I use to the businesses I choose to support. Around 90% of the materials and equipment in my studio are recycled, donated or pre-loved. I love finding new ways to use things that might otherwise be thrown away, from leftover wedding décor and dried flowers to donated craft materials and seasonal decorations.

For me, sustainability isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making better choices, being resourceful and creating beautiful things from what we already have. It’s part of my vision for Augustin Events: a studio that is creative, welcoming, community-minded and a little kinder to the planet.
